Round Easter chick amigurumi
This Easter chick is a plump yellow amigurumi ball with two small flattened wings and a cone-shaped orange beak, all worked in single crochet spirals. It uses about 40 yards of worsted yarn and takes around ninety minutes, finishing 3 inches tall, which fits neatly into an Easter basket.

Can I make a set of chicks in different sizes?
Yes. Use DK yarn and a 3 mm hook for a smaller chick, or bulky yarn and a 5 mm hook for a larger one.
How do I make the chick sit flat?
Before closing, flatten the bottom slightly and add a small bag of plastic pellets under the stuffing.
