Crochet Ring Poncho: vintage crochet pattern

Materials

• Medium (CYC #4) worsted-weight yarn — the original was knitting worsted or Sayelle: 3 skeins of 4 oz (113 g). Assumption: a 4 oz (113 g) skein of worsted-weight yarn holds about 200–230 yd (183–210 m) — check your label.
• Crochet hook (original: plastic crochet hook size I)
• 3 in (7.5 cm) cardboard for pompons
• Hook: Start with 5.5 mm (US I-9) and change size to match the gauge

7. Continue decreasing 1 ring in each row until one 16-dc ring remains. Fasten off.
